Museum in Jakarta
It's Wednesday already. Another two more days to Saturday. Whilst it's important to work or study hard during weekdays, let's take a little break to plan what we are going to do or to go for the weekend.
I've been thinking for the past few weeks to go to a couple of more museums in Jakarta, particularly Fatahillah Museum and visit the Old City of Jakarta, as suggested by bleu and luky. If there is no other activities, I will probably go there this coming Saturday. YM me at b_aroengbinang if you want to join me and maybe you can see your picture at this blog :D.
Here are the list of the museum that I got from the Jakarta Post website. Most of the museums close only on Monday, and open daily between 9am to 2pm. Uncle Google helps me to find the some links for further information about the museum.

Museum Layang-Layang in Lebak Bulus is worth going, especially with children. They showcase beautiful kites from around Indonesia, run workshops and tour which are very educational as well. Unfortunately I don't have their contact handy.
Di sby klo gak salah dan seingat ku ada 1 museum nama nya Museum Mpu Tantular dan saya cuma sekali kesana pas SMP.^_^ ternyata asik juga ke museum, lihat benda2 antik jaman belanda..
@Aris Heru Utomo: yeah, the kids need to appreciate history and learn from it; as they belong to and will shape the future, it's also important to introduce them to current culture, science and technology go hone their creativity and imaginations.
