Where to make Donation

One of the suggestions that can make Jakarta be free from beggars is to inform people where they can donate money, food or goods, such as to institutions, foundations, orphanage houses, political parties, NGOs, etc. that provide food and basic health care services to beggars and those who are in need.

Beggars shall know where to go to get the free food and health care assistance just to survive for the day. If they want to get small money, the foundation may offer to the beggars to do certain services (physical or non-physical one for disable people) before collecting the money.

On the other side, people shall also be aware that there are places available for the needy to get necessary assistance, and hence they will not feel bad at all when they do not give small money to the beggars on the street.

Signs shall be put in every traffic lights in Jakarta, informing both beggars and motorists, that those places are available, and hence there is no reason for motorist to support beggars on the street, and there is no reason for beggars to be on the street either.

Let's share with the world where you donate your money or other stuffs, detail with bank account or address, and brief explanation as to why you trust the institution or foundation.

Your input will be added to the list below, by mentioning your name with link to your blog as the source of the information.
