Anchor Ad is an ad format of Google AdSense that will appear on a page when publisher installs Auto Ads script on her or his website. This ad will only appear when visitors open the website using a cellphone or smart phone, and will not appear on desktop computers.
Unlike other AdSense Ads that will move along when a page is scrolled down or up and disappear from visitor's sight, the Anchor Ads position does not change so that it can always be seen by visitors, and if the content attracts visitor's attention then it will have a great chance to be clicked.
Realizing that there are publishers who want the Anchor Ads to appear at the bottom of page, Google has added parameters that can prevent anchor ads from appearing on the top of page. After making changes to the code and saving it, anchor ads will only appear at the bottom of your website page.
Google says that disabling anchor ads can reduce your income potential. Although you can change the location of anchor ads, but experiments conducted by Google actually show that the position at the top of the page turns out to provide better results.
Having said that, if you want to put anchor ads at the bottom of page, add the following AdSense Auto Ads code parameters: {bottom: true}, so that it becomes:
