SharePod from iPod to PC

I had a classic problem today when I wanted to copy a few songs from my iPod to my other notebook computer. Normally I would do the manual way, but I decided using Google to find freeware that would hopefully help me to do the job in a much easier and elegant way.

This time I was so lucky to find a completely freeware named SharePod, developed by Jeffrey Harris. Download is easy and fast.

If during installation you got a message 'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)' or 'To run this application you must first download one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v2.0.50727', please go to Microsoft .NET 2 Framework to download and install the .NET Framework first, then run SharePod installation program again.

I have tried SharePod, and it's really easy to use and it works well. Some of the main features of SharePod 3.8.4 Beta2 (9 June 2008) are:
  • Add, remove music and videos from iPod
  • Add, remove and edit playlists
  • Add and remove album art
  • Copy music, videos and playlists from iPod to PC
  • Import music/videos into your iTunes library, including playlists and ratings
  • Tag editing
  • Drag n' drop to and from Explorer
  • Simple, clean interface
  • Quick to load and use with no unnecessary complicated features
Here's a screenshot of the SharePod 3.8.4 Beta2

Enjoy.
