I had a high hope at that time that iTunes U would revolutionize or at least would give significant impact on knowledge sharing drive. However, the one way sharing environment, from Apple to world, has limited its value, as nobody could post materials to iTunes U except Apple. It is YouTube that apparently revolutionizes the true knowledge sharing in all possible ways.
The video was posted by KevinnOh with English subtitle. It's quite an interesting and inspiring short story of Steve Jobs' life, from his childhood era to lessons he got by being a college drop-out, and his struggles in life.
I was wondering, how many excellent educational speeches, lectures, debates, discussions, are buried somewhere in companies' drawers, or in public or personal libraries. There are surely many, and are dusty already.
The beauty and the power of knowledge is when they are shared. We probably have to promote freerights instead of copyrights for such precious educational materials. But life has never been perfect. Many people still love selling knowledge and wisdom only to those who can pay, instead of just sharing them to all.
